E-AFRIQUE ELEC Event
E-AFRIQUE ELEC marked the region’s first-ever digital exhibition in the Electronics sector. The event ran for three days, beginning on December 4, 2020, and was organised by FENELEC, Morocco’s leading authority on Electricity, Electronics, and Renewable Energy, in collaboration with CRÉDIT DU MAROC, a prominent commercial bank.
This virtual exhibition brought together both public and private operators from across the globe. As a result, attendees were able to network and do business from the comfort of their offices, saving time and eliminating the need for travel. Notably, the Moroccan Minister of Energy delivered the opening speech as the chief guest, setting the stage for the event.
Once registered, visitors accessed the platform with personalised login details. From there, they engaged in real-time conversations using text chat and video calls. Additionally, they participated in interactive panel sessions, where Global Fairs & Events partners showcased their products and services through live demonstrations and presentations. These sessions were enhanced with supporting video materials and slides.
In addition, visitors explored virtual booths where they could interact with exhibitors, exchange digital business cards, and download marketing materials—all with a simple click. The platform’s intuitive design made navigation easy, while ensuring productive interactions for everyone.
Moreover, the Match-Making feature stood out as a key highlight. This allowed both visitors and exhibitors to schedule private video meetings. These meetings provided a personalised experience, complete with screen-sharing tools and pre-booked time slots for focused, one-on-one discussions.
